Holistic Therapy Treatments
The above and below policies apply when enquiring about or booking and attending your holistic therapy appointment. Should any other policies need to be applied, these will be provided either during the reservation process or when attending your appointment. Payments can be in cash, bank transfer or your usual credit/debit card. Please provide 48 hours' notice when requesting changes to your scheduled appointment.
A 15-minute consultation time is automatically included in your treatment time, meaning when you will receive the full duration you have booked.
To confirm your appointment. you will receive a confirmation email from Robert with further details about your appointment. You will need to reply to this email no later than 48 hours before your appointment to confirm your attendance and complete your payment at this time if you so wish or your appointment will be automatically cancelled. Payments can also be made in cash, bank transfer or your usual credit/debit card. Please provide 48 hours' notice when requesting changes to your scheduled appointment.
Reschedules/Cancellations: Reschedule requests/Cancellations made up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment will receive a refund less a £10 deduction to cover room hire fees. Reschedule requests/Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will not receive any refund to cover the full cost of the chosen treatment and any associated fees.
Late Arrival: We are unable to extend the original treatment time and should you be more than 15 minutes late, we will sadly have to cancel your appointment as you would not benefit from your chosen treatment. No refund will be offered, but you can re-book your appointment to a more convenient date/time.
Non-Attendance: Should you fail to attend your scheduled appointment, your appointment will be cancelled without a refund. See the cancellation policy above.
When not to book a treatment: Please do not schedule an appointment or attend a scheduled appointment if any of the following apply. You are under the influence of drugs or alcohol or experiencing Covid-19 or any other respiratory illnesses. You currently experience uncontrolled high/low blood pressure, uncontrolled diabetes uncontrolled epilepsy and/or unhealed bone fractures or breaks or have any contagious skin or fungal infections, including open/actively healing wounds and/or sites of active infection or have head/body lice or mites.
If you are uncertain if Reiki is safe and suitable for you to experience, please speak to your regular medical practitioner before scheduling an appointment.
Allergies: Please share any known allergies with us before scheduling your appointment to ensure the products we use are safe for you to experience. Should any of the above contraindications apply and you continue to schedule and attend your appointment, your appointment will be immediately cancelled without a refund and you agree not to hold us in any way responsible for any injury/illness or allergy reaction which you failed to share or documented on your consultation form.
What Reiki Cannot Do: Reiki is a natural form of energy therapy/treatment and is unable to actively treat, heal or cure any medically diagnosed disease or health condition/s.
Should you be uncertain if Reiki is the most suitable form of holistic therapy for you and your current medical condition, we recommend you speak with your medical practitioner before scheduling an appointment.
Reiki Sensations: Because Reiki is deeply personal, each person will experience Reiki Energy differently depending on the energy each client individually needs at the time of appointment. Clients have shared they have felt a sense of deep relaxation, emotional calmness and an overall feeling of peace and wellbeing, while other clients have shared sensations of warmth, coolness, tingling and seeing colours. While these sensations demonstrate the active flow of Reiki Energy, they may not always be felt or experienced during an appointment.
Accessibility: Due to the period layout of The Practice Rooms, people who experience limited mobility will not be able to safely manoeuvre around the building. Because Robert rents treatment spaces/rooms from The Practice Rooms in Sheffield, this is something that he cannot control nor sadly change.
